Access data

We, the website operator or website provider, have a legitimate interest in collecting data on website access (see Art. 6 (1) lit. DSGVO) and save these data as "server log files" on the server of the website. The following data is saved:

The server log files are stored for a maximum of 7 days and then deleted. The storage of the data is done for security reasons, e.g. to clarify cases of abuse. If data must be saved for reasons of proof, they are excluded from the deletion until the incident has been conclusively clarified.

Handling of contact information

If you contact us as a website operator through the offered contact options, your data will be saved so that they can be used to process and answer your request. Without your consent, this data will not be disclosed to third parties.

Use of social media plugins from Facebook

Due to our legitimate interest in the analysis, optimization and operation of our online offer (see Art. 6 (1) lit. DSGVO), this website uses the Facebook social plug-in, which is provided by Facebook Inc. (1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA). It can be recognized by the Facebook logo or the terms "Like" and "Share" in the colors of Facebook (blue and white). Information on all Facebook plug-ins can be found via the following link: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/
Facebook Inc. complies with European data protection law and is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement: https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnywAAC&status=Active
The plugin creates a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook servers. The website operator has no influence whatsoever on the nature and extent of the data transmitted by the plugin to the Facebook Inc. servers. Further information can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/help/186325668085084

If you use the functions of the plugin - for example by sharing or "liking" a post - the corresponding information will also be transmitted to Facebook Inc. If you want to prevent the Facebook. Inc. from associating this information with your Facebook account, please log out of Facebook before visiting this website and delete your saved cookies. Through your Facebook profile, you can make additional data processing settings for advertising purposes or object to the use of your data for promotional purposes. You can find the settings here:

Which data is collected, used and processed by Facebook for what purpose and to what extent, and which rights and setting options you have to protect your privacy, can be found in the Facebook Privacy Policy. It can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/

Class registration

If you sign up for one of our classes, the following data are saved in a database:

The registration data are saved in the database for the purpose of creating participants' lists and of requesting the confirmation of registration.
By registering for a class you agree with the above handling of your data.

To register for the newsletter, the data requested in the registration process is required. The registration for the newsletter will be logged. After registering, you will receive a message to the specified email address requesting confirmation of registration ("Double Opt-in"). This is necessary so that third parties cannot register with your email address.
You can revoke your consent to receive the newsletter at any time.
We store the registration data as long as they are needed for sending the newsletter.
The logging of the registration and the e-mail address are stored as long as proof of the given consent is needed, as a rule for a maximum of three years.
Legal basis for sending the newsletter is your consent as described in art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 a) in conjunction with art. 7 DSGVO in conjunction with § 7 (2) no. 3 UWG. Legal basis for logging the application is our legitimate interest in proving that the newsletter was sent to you with your consent.
You can cancel the registration at any time. A short e-mail is sufficient.

E-mail contact

If you contact us (e.g. via e-mail), we will use your details for the processing of the request as well as for the case that follow-up questions arise.
If the data needs to be processed for the implementation of pre-contractual measures, which are based on your request, or if you are already our customer, for the execution of the contract, the legal basis for this data processing is art. 6 para 1 p. 1 b) GDPR.
We process further personal data only if you consent to it (Article 6 (1) sentence 1 a) GDPR) or if we have a legitimate interest in the processing of your data (Article 6 (1) sentence 1 f) GDPR). For example, a legitimate interest could be responding to your email.

E-mails sent to Great Day for Music’s mailing lists use the services of MailChimp from the USA. Almost all e-mails sent automatically or e-mails that are not addressed to you individually (for example, the weekly newsletter) are sent via MailChimp.
The adequate data protection level for the processing of data by MailChimp is guaranteed by their Privacy Shield certification (list entry). In addition, Great Day for Music has completed a data processing contract with MailChimp.
Legal basis of the processing for the transmission of newsletter e-mails is § 7 UWG. The preparatory and following data processing is based on art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. The interest of Great Day for Music consists in the preparation of newsletter dispatch, maintenance of blacklists and unsubscriptions.
For e-mails sent to registered customers, the legal basis is art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR. In this way the course participants receive information that is the subject of the contractual services.

User’s rights

As a user, you have the right to receive on request free information about which personal data has been stored about you. You also have the right to correct incorrect data and to restrict or delete your personal data. If applicable, you can also claim your right to data portability. If you believe your data has been processed unlawfully, you can file a complaint with the appropriate regulatory agency.

Deletion of data

If your request does not conflict with a legal duty to store data (e.g. data retention), you have the right to delete your data. Data stored by us, if they are no longer necessary for their purpose and there are no legal retention periods, will be deleted. If deletion cannot be carried out because the data is required for legitimate legal purposes, data processing is restricted. In this case, the data is blocked and not processed for other purposes.

Right of objection

Users of this website may exercise their right of objection and object to the processing of their personal data at any time.

If you would like a correction, blocking, deletion of or information on your personal data that has been saved, or if you have questions regarding the collection, processing or use of your personal data or if you would like to revoke your consent, please contact the following e-mail address: info@greatdayformusic.de.
